”About Me” My name is Janna, and I live in sunny Florida, USA. My hobbies include watching history shows, reading, sewing, cooking, crafting, traveling, and visiting museums.

I have a Bachelors Degree in English, an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education, and a TESOL certification for teaching English. I have over 11 years of teaching experience. For the past 6 years I have been homeschooling my own children. I have also taught classes in a co- op and ran several clubs in our homeschool group such as Sewing club, American Girl club, Craft club, and History club. I have also been an ESL teacher online for 4 years now.

I would love to share my passions with my students and allow them to express themselves freely through their own ideas and imaginations. I love having open discussions and believe that critical thinking skills are crucial for self reflection. It helps improve problem solving skills, language, presentation skills, and promotes creativity.

It is my goal to connect with every single student. Whether that is through imaginative play or open discussions. Learning does not have to be boring. My classes are high energy and engaging and my goal is that my classes create a passion in my students that not only creates a lover of learning, but lifetime learners as well.

I hope to see you in class!
-Ms. Janna ;=)
